Katie and I didn't do much over the New Years' weekend, but we did make it out of the house to go slack-lining at East Canyon. On our way home I took her on the "abandoned buildings of Porterville" tour.
This is the Porterville Meeting House, it was built as a school house in 1898, dedicated as a church building by Pres. Joseph F. Smith in 1908, converted to a home in 1970, and destroyed by fire in 2000.
